Display and Design
The Umidigi Bison 2021 is essentially a clone of the original Umidigi Bison. The design of both smartphones is identical. It’s safe to assume that both cellphones are mirror reflections of one another.
Following the logic explained in the preceding paragraph, fans of the previous Bison can anticipate the same sturdy chassis with the same design pattern.
Continuing with the design aspects, we get a quad-camera system with an LED flash on the back. The Bison branding appears underneath the module, allowing aficionados to identify it as an Umidigi smartphone. There are also carved lines and color caps that give the impression that this isn’t an ordinary Android phone.

The Cameras
The cameras are a throwback to what we had on the Bison in 2019. This is true for both the front and rear configurations.
A 48MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.79, a 16MP ultrawide camera with a 120° field of view, a 5MP depth camera, and a 5MP macro camera with a 2.5cm macro distance make up the Umidigi Bison 2021’s back camera system. This camera’s video recording is limited to 1080p at 30 frames per second.
On the front, there’s a single 24MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 hidden into the display’s drop notch.
Hardware and software
We have yet another recollection on the hardware side. The sole difference is that the Umidigi Bison 2021 has 8GB of RAM versus 6GB on its predecessor. The rest of the specifications are nearly identical.
A MediaTek Helio P60 processor, 128GB built-in storage (UFS 2.1), the ARM Mali G72 MP3 GPU, and a non-removable 5000mAh Li-Po battery with an 18W quick charge mechanism are among the additional performance enablers.
On the software side, the Android 11 operating system runs Google’s standard user interface.
Connectivity
The USB type-c connection, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC capability, and WiFi connectivity are all included in the Umidigi Bison 2021.
The device’s Internet connection is limited to 4G, thus 5G fans won’t be able to use it.
